The Beginners Course aims to provide all the basics to speak Lebanese Arabic
Covered notions include:
- Greetings
- Introducing yourself (name, profession, origin)
- Talking about your family
- Expressing possession
- Numbers
- Talking about what you like/don’t like
- Verbs in the Present Tense
- Telling your daily routine
- Continuous Present
- Future tense
- Active Participle

The first class of the week introduces the new notions of the week.
Homework
Homework is given between the first and second class to help you prepare for the speaking class and revise.

The second class of the week focuses on speaking to practice the new notions in context.

Do I need any previous knowledge?
No. The course is designed so that anyone can start learning without any previous knowledge required.
Do I need to know or will you teach the Arabic script?
This course is entirely taught using the Latin alphabet, no knowledge of the Arabic alphabet is required nor will be taught.
Is this course teaching Modern Standard Arabic?
No. This course is exclusively about the dialect spoken in Lebanon.
Is this a pre-recorded course or a live course?
This is a live course online, the classes take place on Zoom.
Is this course a group course or an individual course?
Both group and individual classes are available. You can select your preference when registering for the course.
How many students are there in each group?
Groups have a minimum of 3 students and a maximum of 5 students.
How much is the course?
Group course: £250
Individual course: £500
How many lessons are there in total in the course?
There are 20 lessons in total – 10 lessons where we learn and 10 lessons where we practice speaking.
How long is each lesson?
Each lesson lasts 1h.
In which language are the classes available?
The classes are available in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese. You can select your preference when registering for the course.
On which days and at what time are the group classes?
Each time the minimum number of participants is met, the schedule is decided based on everyone’s availability.
I’ve taken different language courses previously and I can confidently say that this course of Lebanese Arabic was outstanding! The lessons are designed in a dynamic and interesting way, each class consists of different modules so you never get bored. Everything is presented in a clear and visual way, with the use of pictures and colours to facilitate learning.
